Being an artist sounds simple, but it is far from it. Over the years, creating the artwork itself became only part of the job. Today's artist is expected to be some kind of a content creation machine—posting, performing, documenting, and showcasing their entire creative life for a greedy algorithm that rewards consistency and popularity instead of talent and depth. The romantic notion of the starving artist being consumed by their craft, unbothered by the outside world, has been replaced by engagement metrics, posting schedules, and an obsession with clicks. Some artists adapt to it, some thrive, and others, like myself, often find it suffocating. There is undesired pressure, and for artists who refuse to “play the game,” the risk of being lost in a sea of artistic voices is very real.
With nearly a decade of hands-on experience supporting artists across the creative spectrum, and world—and a lifelong obsession with collecting and living alongside art—I help artists build visibility on their own terms using a variety of tried-and-true methods. I can offer advice in a one-time consultation call, or provide more in-depth support through full studio management which can include answering emails, tracking inventory, and communicating directly with galleries. Whether you have questions about how much to charge for your work or run a busy, successful studio and need extra support, I’m here to help.
